Gift Shop Volunteer

Location: within Morrisons Johnstone

Are you looking for experience in retail or would just like to give something back?

Our gift shop raises vital funds for the Hospice by selling brand new gift items.

Duties include:

  • Offering excellent customer service
  • Taking payments from customers at the till
  • Promoting St Vincent’s Hospice fundraising events
  • Restocking displays

Skills required:

  • Friendly personality.
  • Willingness to learn new skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Time commitment:

We are looking for volunteers who can commit a few hours, once a week or fortnight. We can be flexible in terms of which day(s)

Training, support and benefits:

  • A full induction and further skills training to enable you to fulfil your role as required.
  • A staff member will support you throughout your time as a volunteer.
  • 20% discount in our community charity shops.

    Please give details of 2 persons we can contact to give you a character reference e.g. long standing friend or neighbour. These should not be relatives and at least one should have no existing connection with St Vincent’s Hospice.
