St Vincent’s Hospice, which serves patients across Renfrewshire and the neighbouring areas of North Ayrshire, has appointed a new Specialist Palliative Care Doctor to its medical team – Dr Catherine McCallum.
Palliative Care Consultant, Mairi-Clare McGowan said “We are delighted to have extended the medical team at St Vincent’s with the addition of Dr McCallum. Cath joined us last year on an interim basis and impressed us all with both her knowledge and experience and her very deep commitment to person-centred approaches to care. We are delighted she has now joined us on a permanent basis”.
