Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP)

We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join St Vincent’s Hospice – a hospice often described as “the little hospice with the big heart”.

At St Vincent’s Hospice, you will play a key role in providing holistic, person-centred care to patients and those important to them, supporting them through some of life’s most significant moments.

About this role:

As an ANP, you will work as an autonomous practitioner, using advanced clinical judgement to manage a complex caseload and deliver high-quality care.

You will:

  • Undertake comprehensive holistic assessments and clinical decision-making
  • Provide expert symptom management, including prescribing
  • Support patients and families through sensitive and complex conversations
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Contribute to service development, education, and quality improvement

This is a senior clinical role where your expertise, compassion, and professionalism will have a direct impact on patient experience and quality of life.

About you:

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
  • Holds (or is working towards) a Master’s in Advanced Clinical Practice
  • Is an Independent Non-Medical Prescriber (V300)
  • Has significant experience in palliative or end-of-life care
  • Demonstrates strong clinical judgement and decision-making skills
  • Is confident working autonomously and managing complex cases
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working Hours:                    

This is a permanent, full-time role offering a competitive annual salary ranging from £52,769 to £61,377.
