Date:October 4, 2026
Location: Riverside Transport Museum
The Glasgow 10K kicks off at the impressive Riverside Transport Museum, setting the scene for an unforgettable run through the city.
From the start, the route follows the River Clyde heading east, offering great views and passing some of Glasgow’s most recognisable landmarks early on, including the Glasgow Science Centre, SEC, Armadillo and the OVO Hydro.
Runners will then cross the river and loop back, taking in the “Squiggly Bridge” and George V Bridge, before heading into the heart of the city. You’ll make your way along the vibrant streets of Glasgow, including Buchanan Street, as you approach the halfway point.
The second half of the route leads you past George Square and down towards Glasgow Green, where you’ll run through one of the city’s most historic and scenic parks, passing the People’s Palace along the way. From there, it’s back towards the city centre, where an incredible atmosphere and cheering crowds will carry you over the finish line – where your medal, water and goody bag will be waiting.
Whether you’re aiming for a personal best or taking on your first 10K, this event is a fantastic way to challenge yourself and be part of something special.
