Carers in Mind is a 4 week course led by Karen Snadden, our Counsellor and Kara McFie, our Day Services Coordinator. It will run during our regular Carers Group slot from 12.30 – 1.30pm
Week 1 – Tuesday 12th March – Introduction to Mindfulness & Meditation and an introduction to self-care boxes. (boxes will be provided)
Week 2 – Tuesday 19th March – Self-care check in and Mindfulness colouring.
Week 3 – Tuesday 2nd April – The importance of sleeping well and being mindful of your feelings, such as anxiety and loneliness.
Week 4 – Tuesday 9th April – Discuss your self-care box and what you have learned from this 4 week session
Each week will have a short session of Mindfulness either at the start or end of the group.
